A short stop, a new leg. On the road, CCS fast charging makes the difference.
100 km more during your coffee stop
Fast charging on the road
A CCS fast charger supplies direct current straight to the battery of your Energica. The cable is attached to the fast charger: plug in and charge.
Under suitable conditions you add around 100 km of range in 15 minutes, or 400 km of range per charging hour.
What determines your pace?
Battery temperature, state of charge and the charging curve, together with the charging point, determine how fast you actually charge. A powerful charger never automatically gives your motorcycle the power shown on the charging unit.
All Energicas
All Energica motorcycles support both AC charging and CCS fast charging: at home, at work, at a public charging point and at a CCS fast charger.
Start your day with energy
Home charging
With a suitable home charger or a manufacturer-approved mobile charging cable, you charge while your motorcycle is parked. A wallbox gives you a fixed, practical charging spot.
Ask an installer to check the connection and protection.
Public AC charging
A charging point at work, in your neighbourhood or at your destination makes a parking stop useful. At many European charging points you connect with your own Type 2 cable.
Your motorcycle's onboard charger and the supported phases determine the actual charging power.
How far do you want to ride?
You set off with a full battery, charged at home, at work or where you stayed the night. Charging time only counts once you ride further than that first full battery.
A charging card included
One point of contact
With every motorcycle we include an Electric Motorcycles charging card. One point of contact for your charging card, charging management and personal explanation.
Choose a card with Electric Motorcycles or Energica branding.
Tariffs
Charging sessions are billed separately. Before every session, check the current tariffs, start fees, any time fees and whether your charging card is accepted.

Charging is also about advice on home charging, business charging, public applications and fleet charging. We bring together your use, your connection and the support you need.

Which way do you choose?
Fast charging station
DC via CCS Combo 2, with a compatible motorcycle. The motorcycle, the battery, the charging curve and the charging point determine the pace.
Home
Usually AC, with a wallbox or an approved mobile charging cable. Your installation, the charging solution and the onboard charger determine the pace.
Public charging point
AC, often via Type 2 with your own cable. The onboard charger, the phases and the available power determine the pace.
Make your route part of the ride
Before you leave
- Check the connector and charging options of your motorcycle.
- Choose a stop with a suitable charging point and check its live status.
- Check your charging card or payment method and the tariff.
- Plan an alternative and a suitable energy reserve.
Fast charging networks
For each charging point, check the CCS connector, the status, the tariff and which charging cards are accepted.
Fastned locationsIONITY locationsShell Recharge locationsFrequently asked charging questions
Can every electric motorcycle fast charge?
No. DC fast charging requires support from the motorcycle and a suitable connector. A Type 2 connector alone does not mean the motorcycle supports CCS.
Does my motorcycle charge faster at a 300 kW charger?
Your motorcycle and battery determine how much power is drawn. A higher power rating on the charging unit does not raise your motorcycle's maximum.
Can I ride electric without my own driveway?
That depends on how you ride and the charging options at work, nearby and along your routes. We help you assess whether that combination fits your daily rides.
What does charging cost?
The cost depends on the provider, charging card, location and tariff. Besides a price per kWh, start fees, time fees or parking fees may apply.
